The first wave of dictionaries includes the following languages (please click an item on the list below to download the files for the corresponding language plug-in):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_ca_ES.zip\">Catalan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_cs_CZ.zip\">Czech<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_en_GB.zip\">English (U.K.)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_en_US.zip\">English (U.S.)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_fr_FR.zip\">French<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_de_DE.zip\">German<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_hu_HU.zip\">Hungarian<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_it_IT.zip\">Italian<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_pl_PL.zip\">Polish<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_pt_BR.zip\">Portuguese (Brazil)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_pt_PT.zip\">Portuguese (Portugal)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_ru_RU.zip\">Russian<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_sk_SK.zip\">Slovakian<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_sl_SI.zip\">Slovenian<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_es_ES.zip\">Spanish<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/download\/XBenchQASpellerH_uk_UA.zip\">Ukrainian<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To install the spell-checking plug-in, simply extract the contents of the language&#8217;s .zip file into ApSIC Xbench installation directory (typically, C:\\Program Files\\ApSIC\\Xbench).<\/p>\n<p>Once you have copied the files, you will notice that next time you start ApSIC Xbench, an additional entry named <b>Spellcheck<\/b> appears in the <b>Check Group<\/b> box.<br \/>\n<img src='http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/img\/articles\/CheckGroupEntry.JPG'\/><\/img><\/p>\n<p>If the <b>Spellcheck<\/b> item is checked, next time you click <b>Check Ongoing Translation<\/b>, a spell-checking window will appear:<\/p>\n<p>\n<img src='http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/img\/articles\/SpellCheckingWindow.JPG'\/><\/img><\/p>\n<p>Each misspelling variant is listed only once and the <b>Instances<\/b> column indicates how many actual segments are affected by the listed misspelling. Using this window, you will indicate which items are real misspellings by double-clicking them to move them to the <b>Real Misspellings<\/b> list box on the right.<\/p>\n<p><p>Once you have reviewed the list of potential errors, click <b>OK<\/b> to close the window. Segments with misspellings will be listed among the rest of QA results and you will be able to use the <b>Edit Source<\/b> feature to get right to the offending segment.<\/p>\n<p>Also interesting are <b>Exclusions<\/b>, which can be useful for some type of texts prone to false alarms.<\/p>\n<p><img src='http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/img\/articles\/Exclusions.JPG'\/><\/img><\/p>\n<p>You have the ability to change the working mode by right-clicking and choosing <b>Settings<\/b>-><b>Change Working Mode<\/b> to indicate false alarms instead of real misspellings (which working mode will require fewer clicks will depend on the type of text you are spell-checking).<\/p>\n<p>We hope you find useful this new QA feature, which is being published as a feature preview and that we are well aware that is still missing important items such as an addendum function.
