{"id":91,"date":"2016-02-09T14:08:59","date_gmt":"2016-02-09T12:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apsic.com\/blog\/?p=91"},"modified":"2016-02-13T13:22:58","modified_gmt":"2016-02-13T11:22:58","slug":"new-community-forum-for-xbench","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apsic.com\/blog\/?p=91","title":{"rendered":"New Community Forum for Xbench!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re happy to announce that we have just put in place a community forum at <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xbench.net\">http:\/\/forum.xbench.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The forum is based on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.discourse.org\/\">Discourse<\/a> platform and we&#8217;ll be adding typical questions or support issues to it on an ongoing basis so that you can quickly search the forum DB.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, that besides the intrinsic goal of any forum of eventually connecting the user community, we will also try that over time the forum becomes a conveniently searchable and comprehensive <b>Knowledge Base<\/b> built over time with actual questions raised by our users.<\/p>\n<p>We will be monitoring the forum for questions and will endeavor to answer them, although the official support site will continue to be our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xbench.net\/index.php\/support\/submit-bug\">Contact Support<\/a> form.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xbench.net\">Forum<\/a> will probably the best place for <i>How do I&#8230;<\/i>-like questions, regex questions for Xbench checklists, or for bringing up ideas and suggestions, while using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xbench.net\/index.php\/support\/submit-bug\">Contact Support<\/a> is probably the best option if you anticipate that your issue is a bug that most likely will involve sending files to us to reproduce, fix, and verify.<\/p>\n<p>We hope that you like the new forum and look forward to seeing you there!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re happy to announce that we have just put in place a community forum at http:\/\/forum.xbench.net.
